Re: Greta, a recent
email we received...
She is doing amazing! We just love her so much!!! She graduates on Wed
from her puppy class and then we will start her in the intermediate
class. The trainer just loves her and said that for as young as she is
it is amazing how quickly she learns. She told us that we should really
consider training her to be a therapy dog. She said she just loves to
learn and she thinks that she would do really well. We taught her to
ring a bell when she needs to go outside to potty a couple weeks after
we got her and she learned it in less than 24 hours. She is calm and
sweet and SOOOOOOOOOOO cute! She is a snuggler. The kids just have so
much fun with her. Our 10yr old dog and she play so well together. We
have not gotten a chance to get her up to the lake to swim yet but I
know that she is going to love swimming because anytime she hears the
bathtub going or the shower she wants to get in. She just lost her
front teeth and the new ones are almost in. She loves her kennel and
will go in there sometimes during the day to take a nap (we leave it
open for her to come and go as she pleases). I have lots of
pictures of her up on my facebook page (my friends always joke that she
is my new favorite child!) Thank you again so much for choosing us to
be the family for this amazing little girl. We just love her dearly!!

"Our Black Lab, Budweiser of Heaven's View, (Buddy) was perfectly
trained at six months by Karen Rude and her staff at Rude Dog
University. He's been a constant joy to our family and is one of the
most well mannered dogs we've ever seen.
I underwent total knee replacement a couple years ago which prevented
me from moving into the next step with Buddy, which is Hunting.
Now
that my knee is recovered and I can walk the fields again, I found it
necessary to have Karen work with Buddy some more. Within 3 hours, she
had force trained him to retrieve pheasants. It was almost a miracle
what an impact her training had on him. Consequently, we have had a
very successful hunt this fall and I look forward to many more years of
hunting with this wonderful dog and pal."

"The hunting class given by Rude Dog U was the best investment I could
have made to have a better hunting partner. Karen and Lisa present a
well-planned and organized program that includes classroom and field
training. Having taken the class, both Java and I enjoy hunting more."

"This is my first experience
training a hunting dog and found this class to be helpful and fun. The
training and assistance from the hunting class at Rude Dog U, along
with our Weimaraner's natural hunting abilities, have made for many
pleasant hunts this season."

"Just a little thank you for the hunting training. My dog (Digger) and
myself (Ken Marg) just got back from South Dakota from a Pheasant
hunting trip. Digger did a great job he wouldn't quit hunting. Friends
of mine had pointers and we would use Digger to flush the birds, this
worked great. It really makes a trip when you have a good dog and he
works his but off to find birds, flush and retrieve I did spend some
time at B & L game farm in Osseo and they were very helpful also.
Again I thank you for all your help and your hunting class was very
helpful. Tell Lisa hello also and maybe we will see you sometime in the
future."
